For Centuries the Irish Ceili was our traditional social gathering – with Music, Song and Dance as its centrepiece. The Irish in America have preserved this musical heritage and its influence has become part of popular American culture. Many of the songs and tunes featured on this Collection travelled with the Irish Immigrants, others are more contemporary and many originated from the Irish Diaspora
